Vajra (वज्र, ‘thunderbolt’) is a mythical weapon (āyudha or bādhra), especially one wielded by the god Indra according to the Vāstusūtra Upaniṣad.
Vajra is a bedside lamp and a personal safety device. The baton works as a flashlight and a device that could be used in a physical altercation for self-defense in case of a home invasion. The bat is embedded with motion sensors and a wifi module that connects it to the internet. On detecting physical impact, Vajra enables the home security alarm and alarms the local law enforcement. The vajra base can be connected to the home security system for real-time threat status conveyed using the embedded RGB light indicators and a buzzer speaker. The base is made out of concrete and can also be used as a fatal projectile as a last resort. The Baton is made our of Hard Maple spun on a lathe to the desired size. The base is made using custom silicon mould using a composite concrete for increased weight and durability.
